Who Are We?
Who Are We?

At Axios Youth, we are a vibrant community of young believers who have been called to rise to the challenges of our time. The name “Axios,” derived from the Greek word meaning “worthy” or “deserving,” reflects our belief in the inherent worth and potential of every young person. Just as each of us is intrinsically valuable, we recognize the importance of cultivating our abilities and character in alignment with our faith.

Sunday Morning Spark:

SPARK, Axios Youth’s Sunday School program, meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM. Designed to ignite curiosity and a deeper connection to Scripture, SPARK encourages students to crack open their Bibles, ask meaningful questions, and engage in lively, discussion-based lessons. With a strong focus on practical application, SPARK equips students to live out their faith in everyday life.

What Are We Learning?

Current Spark Series: Stories That Stick
Current Spark Series: "Stories That Stick"

Jesus didn’t just preach sermons—He told stories. And somehow, thousands of years later, we’re still talking about them.

For the next six weeks we will be talking all about the parables of Jesus. These aren’t boring old Bible stories—they’re short, powerful, sometimes surprising stories that Jesus used to flip perspectives, challenge hearts, and reveal what the Kingdom of God is really like.

Stories shape us. They stick in our heads, replay in our minds, and quietly change the way we see the world. Jesus knew that, which is why He used stories about farmers, lost coins, rebellious sons, and unexpected heroes to communicate eternal truth.

Current YG Series: "The Book of Acts"

You know that moment at the end of Iron Man when the credits are rolling, you think the story is over… and then Nick Fury steps out of the shadows and says, “I want to talk to you about the Avengers Initiative”?

That’s the Book of Acts.

The Gospels don’t end the story of Jesus—they set it up. Acts is the post-credit scene, where the camera pulls back and you realize God is doing something way bigger than you imagined. Jesus has risen. The Spirit is coming. And a group of ordinary people are about to launch a movement that will change the world. In this 4-week youth series, we’re stepping into the continuation of the story—the birth of the Church. We’ll watch scared disciples become bold witnesses, see the Holy Spirit show up with power, and follow the gospel as it spreads from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth.

Acts isn’t just church history.
It’s a reminder that God uses ordinary people for extraordinary purposes—and the story didn’t stop in the first century.

This is the beginning of the Church.
This is the moment the team comes together.
And spoiler alert: you’re part of the story now.

Events:

Throughout the year, we offer a variety of events where students can fellowship, have fun, and grow together in faith. Whether it's through our weekly gatherings, special events, or hangouts outside of church, there’s always something happening to help you connect with your peers and deepen your relationship with God.
