Who Are We?
Who Are We?

At Axios Youth, we are a vibrant community of young believers who have been called to rise to the challenges of our time. The name “Axios,” derived from the Greek word meaning “worthy” or “deserving,” reflects our belief in the inherent worth and potential of every young person. Just as each of us is intrinsically valuable, we recognize the importance of cultivating our abilities and character in alignment with our faith.

(1 John 3:1 & 1 Timothy 4:12)

When Do We Meet?

Sunday Morning Spark:
Sunday Morning Spark:

SPARK, Axios Youth’s Sunday School program, meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM. Designed to ignite curiosity and a deeper connection to Scripture, SPARK encourages students to crack open their Bibles, ask meaningful questions, and engage in lively, discussion-based lessons. With a strong focus on practical application, SPARK equips students to live out their faith in everyday life.

Wednesday Night Youth Group:
Wednesday Night Youth Group:

Axios Youth’s Wednesday Night Youth Group meets every Wednesday at 6 PM. It’s a dynamic evening packed with fun games, heartfelt worship, and meaningful lessons. The highlight of the night is small group time, where students deepen their relationships with Christ and each other through open, honest conversations about faith and life.

What Are We Learning?

Current Spark Series: PLOT TWIST
Current Spark Series: "PLOT TWIST"

Ever notice how some Bible stories get boiled down into simple lessons we learned as kids? Noah and the animals. David and the giant. Daniel and the lions. They’re stories many of us have heard for years—but when you actually read them in the Bible, there are some surprising twists.

In  Plot Twist, we’re revisiting some of the most well-known stories in Scripture and discovering that there’s often much more going on than we remember. What seems like a simple story about courage, miracles, or heroes often reveals deeper truths about sin, faith, trust, and God’s plan.

Current YG Series: Kings and Kingdoms
Current YG Series: "Kings and Kingdoms"

Kings & Kingdoms is a four-week Axios Youth series exploring the rise and fall of Israel’s first kings—Saul, David, and Solomon—and what their lives reveal about leadership, faith, success, and failure. Each king began with promise and influence, yet their stories show how pride, compromise, and misplaced priorities can lead even great leaders away from God’s best. Through their victories and their failures, we’ll see how the story of Israel’s kings ultimately points to the deeper need for a perfect ruler. The series will culminate on Easter week with the arrival of King Jesus, whose kingdom is not temporary or fragile like the kingdoms of men, but eternal, unshakable, and established through the cross and the empty tomb. 👑

Events:

At Axios Youth, we believe in building strong, lasting relationships with each other and with Christ. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of events where students can fellowship, have fun, and grow together in faith. Whether it's through our weekly gatherings, special events, or hangouts outside of church, there’s always something happening to help you connect with your peers and deepen your relationship with God. Join us as we do life together!

Get ready for the return of McDonald’s Night after youth group on the 15th! We’ll be heading to the Main Street McDonald’s for a fun evening of fellowship and, of course, plenty of delicious french fries. Don’t miss this chance to hang out, relax, and enjoy great company!

Extreme Leader Hunt: 4/25
Extreme Leader Hunt: 4/25

Get ready for our Extreme Leader Hunt on the 25th at 12:30 PM! Our youth leaders will be hiding in disguise along Main Street, and the youth group will split into teams to find them. The first team to collect all the leaders’ autographs wins the challenge. It’s a fun and exciting way to test your teamwork and observation skills—don’t miss out!

Camp Fundraisers:

This summer, we are excited to attend summer camp at Liberty University! While the experience is incredible, the cost can be quite high. To help reduce the price per student, we have organized a variety of fundraising events. These activities are designed to make the camp more affordable for everyone and ensure that all students have the opportunity to participate in this memorable adventure.

Tin Roof: 4/11
Tin Roof: 4/11

Join us for our Tin Roof Fundraiser on the 11th of this month! Tin Roof, a local Christian-owned business, will generously donate 10% of their proceeds for the entire day to support our cause. Plus, there will be a designated tip jar to help even more. Come out and enjoy some delicious froyo or a fresh cup of coffee while supporting our community!

Rent-A-Teen: 4/12
Rent-A-Teen: 4/12

Join us for our Rent a Teen Fundraiser—two great events in one! First, enjoy a delicious lunch provided by the youth group, available by donation. Then, don’t miss the main event: a service auction where each student will offer a unique service to the congregation, such as dog walking, car washing, and more. It’s a fun way to support our youth while getting helpful tasks done!
